Returning to Visalia was an easy choice because it truly feels like home. Though I spent nearly a decade in Oklahoma City for my undergraduate and medical education, my roots have always been in California’s Central Valley, where I was born in Fresno and raised in Modesto. I was fortunate to complete my surgical training here at Kaweah Health, immersing myself in the local community from the very start of my career. After several years in New Mexico, furthering my experience both as a surgeon and in hospital leadership, the chance to come back and open my own practice in Visalia felt like coming full circle. My wife, our two daughters, and I are proud to be part of this community, and I look forward to serving Visalia for many years.

As a board-certified general surgeon, I offer broad training and experience, with special interests in gallbladder and hernia disease, benign and cancerous breast conditions, and advanced minimally invasive procedures including laparoscopic and robotic surgery. My philosophy of care is rooted in compassion, precision, and partnership. I believe every patient deserves individualized attention and care that is both evidence-based and tailored to their unique needs and circumstances. Prevention, early detection, and patient education are central to my approach, empowering patients to make informed decisions and take an active role in their health journey. My goal is for every patient to feel heard, supported, and confident in their care, from initial consultation through recovery and beyond.
